The BBQ Depot is a family-owned business that specializes in barbecue grills, BBQ replacement parts, custom outdoor kitchens and accessories, and propane fulfillment. Since 1956, the company has been a business that centers around service and meeting the needs of their customers. Their utmost goal is to provide the ultimate grilling experience to their customers no matter the price point.
The Challenge
The BBQ Depot came to EYStudios with a desire to bolster their social media presence. Previously, they had their social media accounts just to have them and had not been utilizing them to their fullest potential. The company had difficulty in knowing what content to post without their account looking like a parade of ads. But mostly they didn't know how to leverage their social media to make money. EYStudios was brought on board to help with content development and scheduling as well as account management.
Our Creative Solution
EYStudios provided The BBQ Depot with a social media strategy that would help increase their online presence and sales. The strategy was two-fold: 1. Increase Engagement 2. Drive Traffic to the Website To increase engagement, EYStudios created a content calendar that highlighted seasonal grilling tips, recipes, and product features. This type of content is not only visually appealing but also helpful to the customer. In addition, EYStudios made sure to post frequently and at optimal times for The BBQ Depot’s audience while also engaging with the audience and listening to their preferences. To drive traffic to the website, EYStudios included links with every post and ran ads that directed users to specific landing pages on the website. We also set up their Instagram shop which allows for tagged products within posts.
