We all know of Amazon’s popularity as a sales channel, but many merchants aren’t aware of a new method of promotion hosted by the e-commerce giant. Currently, two clients of EYStudios are benefiting from increased visibility as part of the widely-celebrated Prime Day event.

PizzaPack.com and StylinBoxes.com have been utilizing Amazon’s popular Buy with Prime service to quickly ship goods to customers across the US. Because of their early sales success, the merchants were hand-picked by Amazon to be featured as part of a multi-week promotion leading up to Prime Day.

Both businesses point to quick turnaround from EYStudios’ design as key to their growth.

Stylin Boxes had to launch their new site within a month of starting a busy selling season, which made incorporating Buy with Prime a make-or-break scenario. Fortunately, the early work paid off in getting the nascent brand ready for Prime Day.

Having initially experienced a boost to their brand after being featured on ABC’s “Shark Tank,” Pizza Pack had gone as far as they could with a site design that was less than stellar. With Prime Day looming, they had weeks and not months to optimize their online brand for an influx of new customers.

Resolving key UX issues and emphasizing merchandising opportunities were the priorities with both designs. While the EYStudios team had additional ideas for evolving the experience, the focus here was on getting a foundation in place to maximize Prime Day profits.

Dating back to its inception in 2015, Prime Day offered a new opportunity this year to select merchants like Pizza Pack and Stylin Boxes.

“Traditionally, Prime Day transactions were handled exclusively on Amazon.com,” said Chris Kosiba, CCO at EYStudios. “This year, Amazon generously provided direct links from its site to two client stores.”

Pizza Pack and Stylin Boxes (located on Shopify and BigCommerce, respectively) were happy as well, seeing sales come in from both Amazon’s Prime Day landing pages and social channels.

Buy with Prime was pleased with the results, with Eli Hecht (Senior Tech Sales) commenting, “When we have a partner like EYStudios that can help us and the merchant quickly ship more units through effective design, it’s a no-brainer to work with them.”
